How does the karaoke API work?
Sync the catalogue
Ask what has changed since last time. Metadata only — a daily sync moves a handful of rows, not the whole catalogue.
Download a track, once
Files arrive as encrypted containers and are cached on the venue’s machine. They stay useful for as long as the customer is entitled to them.
Ask for a licence to play
Issued per account and cached for about 72 hours, so a venue with poor internet keeps working.
Report what played
Batched and fire-and-forget, so rights-holder reporting is accurate without slowing anything down.
Can I license karaoke tracks for my own app?
Yes. Sunfly licenses its karaoke catalogue to software companies for use inside their own applications, kiosks and venue platforms. The content is delivered through a REST API and played with a Sunfly player SDK, so the catalogue sits inside your product behind your own interface.
